We want to keep that youthful look through out our life. We all want to be the youngest and the most charming person in the crowd. But, this is not possible because of a natural phenomenon called aging. This is a very scary process to all of us.

Even though we cannot stop it all together, we at least want to slow down the pace of the aging process. Feeling and looking younger than what we are, is definitely going to help us in almost all aspects of our life. To help slow the anti aging process some people try changing their diet and some start going to the fitness club. But, all these things require a lot of effort, money and time from our already busy lives. Hence many of us look towards using anti aging creams to help fill in the gap.

Antiaging cream can be an excellent option:

Especially turning forty, people start looking at antiaging cream as a real good option to counter attack the aging process. The craze for these antiaging creams is increasing at a rapid pace in the last few years mainly because all the baby boomers want to look thier best. The cosmetic product market today generates over eight hundred million dollars a year.

Have Patience:

However just like any other skin treatments, antiaging creams cannot give results in a single day. They take some time before they actually show some results. So, patience is the key if you want to get the results from these creams. There are different creams for different purposes, such as moisturizers, creams that do nutrient replenishments and so on. So, before going to buy a cream, you should be sure of your expected results from the cream so you won't be disappointed

Antiaging creams are definitely the most popular of all the antiaging cosmetic products. Many of these creams deliver what they promise, thanks to hours of research as well as technological and medical advancements. But still you should keep in mind that antiaging creams don't fix everything. They have to be supplemented with balanced nutritional diet along with a regular exercise program to achieve maximum results.

Specially for men:

Normally antiaging products are popular with just women, but these antiaging creams are made for men too. In fact there are several antiaging creams, which are specially made for men and they are becoming very popular very fast. So don't be afraid to use these products to keep looking young as well.

Is Beauty Really Only Skin Deep?

The answer is yes and no. It's a paradox, isn't it? True beauty begins from the inside out. Don't you wish there were some way to "wriggle your nose" and regain that soft skin you had as a child?

Well, until someone comes up with the true "Fountain of Youth," we are stuck with what we have.

The best route to healthy skin is to take care of what you have. Sounds simple, doesn't it? The truth is that your skin takes a beating from the environment every single day. Here are some of our favorite tips for keeping your skin fresh and healthy:

1.Stay hydrated, and drink plenty of water! That doesn't mean soda, caffeine or any other type of liquid even if it is low cal. Soda (even diet soda) has a high concentration of sodium. Sodium retains fluids. You need fluid that will hydrate and flush your body free of toxins. Make sure you are drinking at least 8 glasses a day!

2.Protect your skin from harmful ultra violet (UV) rays. We all love the sun. We love being in it and we love having a beautiful tan. The truth is you can poison yourself with too much sunshine. UV rays cause skin cancer, and if that isn't bad enough, it causes your skin to age faster than it should, contributing to unsightly wrinkles. If you must play in the sun, make certain you are using an adequate sun screen. Don't leave home without it!

3.Apply your sun screen even if you only make a quick trip to the grocery store. Yes, you can get harmful UV rays even while driving your car!

4.When you purchase sun screen, make certain you are buying the right tool for the job. There are different types of UV rays and they don't all affect our skin in the same ways. The time of year also has a bearing on how much damage the sun can do to your skin. Altitude is another important factor. UV rays are more intense at high altitudes. Sunshine alone is not the culprit. You can do just as much damage to your skin (or in some cases even more) on a cloudy day!

5.Don't forget sun screen for your lips. They want to be healthy too!

6.Apply your sunscreen BEFORE going outdoors and allow plenty of time for it to adequately absorb into your skin cells rather than just sitting on top of the skin.

7.Read the labels on skin care products. The truth is that some ingredients may do more harm than good. The more ingredients are listed, the more potential harm they can do to your skin.

Skin Care - Protect Your Skin At All Cost!

If there is one human body part, which caused a lot of unrest and wars in the history, it is the skin. When one talks of skin care, colors fade out quickly; skin care is a colorless, boundary-less world.

Everyone wishes to have a healthy skin, fresh & glowing all time. For that matter age is definitely not a bar. From a newly born baby to a woman in her 50s or more will like to take care of their skin. For example a newly born baby is prone to rashes due to the mild skin, and as we grow along with our hectic day to day activity, you are exposed to the harsh sunlight, dust and other pollutants; whereas old age welcomes us with wrinkles.

As the saying goes 'Prevention is better than cure', we have so many low cost remedies to take care of our skin, Why not take advantage and start trying on your skin to have a glowing radiant and a healthy skin.

How to take care of the skin
1. New born babies should be kept clean and in a hygienic environment. Diaper rash is a common skin problem in them. Try to avoid diapers at home, keep that part of the body clean free from sweat. If the sweat remains for a short period also, bacteria is generated and one can observe those harsh rashes on the tender baby's skin. If the baby is healthy, rashes appear on the flexible, hand and leg muscle joints due to accumulation of sweat. Mix a pinch of baking soda in lukewarm water and clean the sweat at the joints with cotton swabs. Keep the baby free from sweat. Then to if you could not avoid those rashes, sprinkle Clotrimaxazole powder on the rashes.

2. Basic rule for any body to take care of the skin is to keep it healthy. Drink lots of water, 2 liters a day, avoid those junk and oily foods, which are the root cause for blackheads, acnes and pimples. Instead of soap, which is alkaline in nature, you can use face wash of any reputed brand as it is acidic and is not rough on your skin.

3. Use of herbal/fruit face packs, depending on the type of your skin, you can use it occasionally. Commercially available anti aging creams or lotions are hardly dependable. Wrinkles are caused due to the decrease in collagen content in the endodermis (inner layer of skin). This is irreversible.

Just look around for tips on skincare, it may surprise you; you will come up 100s of home preparation techniques too. A small caution here, keep unreliable tips and cosmetics at a distance. The basic principle is 'happy skin is beautiful skin'. You may cross check a cosmetic's reliability on FDA website.

The Overall Health Of Your Skin

Magnesium Sulfate, commonly referred to and sold as Epsom Salt, has incredible health advantages which impact skin. This pure mineral compound in a crystal form is a great organic form of skin care; it exfoliates and smoothes skin as well as reducing inflammation.

Aside from the effects it has on the skin, soaking in it allows your body to absorb magnesium, a mineral which most people are deficient with todays diets. Years ago, ground was rich in this mineral, allowing produce to absorb it during growth, but this is no longer the case.

Proper levels of magnesium are known to raise serotonin (raises mood), offset adrenaline (allows relaxation & reduces irritability and stress), regulates electrical impulses through the nervous system, and lowers blood pressure. These allow the body to handle day-to-day stress, which is known to affect the skin, especially in people with eczema and psoriasis.

Epsom Salt (magnesium sulfate) also helps in the production of ATP, this body produced chemical directly affects energy in cells, allowing better cell production and raising your daily energy and stamina. Soaking for at least 12 minutes, two to three times per week, in a bath of 2 or three cups of Epsom Salt in your warm (not hot) bath water gives these advantages through the magnesium absorbed through the skin. Studies show that magnesium levels are raised better through soaking than through ingestion of supplements.

All of the above, as well as the following benefits affect your skins health and appearance. The other benefits of proper magnesium levels which, it turn affect your skin, include:

Helps that ability to use natural insulin, helping prevent diabetes or reduce severity.

Helps maintain current calcium levels in the blood which is the main conductor for the bodys electrical impulses; this helps in cases which require careful thought, as well as those which tend to cause high stress.

Cleans heavy metals and toxins from your cells, helping muscle pain and ridding the body of harmful substances (which often tend to store themselves in the skin and fatty tissues).

Prevents hardening of the arteries, reduces blood clots, and reduces irregular heartbeat. Thing things, along with the above mentioned lower blood pressure, give you better health in your circulation system, helping rid internal toxins, and increase cell production.

Mixing a tiny bit of Epsom Salt with an organic cleansing cream will work wonders for anti aging. This organic skin treatment helps you prevent early aging signs by removing a variety of environmental attackers. Another way to achieve these results is through the following deep cleaning once or twice a week.

Normal to dry skin should be treated with the following ingredients mixed together, and applied to slightly wet skin. Leave the mask on until dry, remove with warm water.
1/4 cup finely grated carrot
1 and 1/2 teaspoons real mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon Epsom Salt

For Skin that is normal to oily, mix the following ingredients and apply to a slightly wet face. The mask should remain until dry. Remove with warm water.
1 tablespoon cognac
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon Epsom Salt
juice from a lemon
1/4 cup non fat dry milk

Further organic skin care that can be done with Epsom Salt is body exfoliation. Mix the ingredients and rub dry skin patches well. You may just want to use this organic skin care on a regular basis. You will need:

Ingredients
2 cups Epsom Salt
1/4 cup petroleum jelly
4 or five drops lavender essential oil

You can make your own bath crystals for yourself and loved ones, too. By soaking in warm water (not hot) and two cups of these bath salts three times a week, a great organic skin care that has the multitude of health benefits listed above will be enjoyed. Mix all ingredients and put in airtight container. Now you have a great gift that will benefit your loved one in many wonderful ways! You will need:

Airtight container, big enough to hold at least 6 cups.

Epsom Salt. Measure in 2 cup increments.
Fragrance (use one your recipient likes and you can use mens fragrances for them as well). You will need 4 to 5 drops for every 2 cups of Epsom Salt.
Glycerin. Use 1/2 teaspoon for every 2 cups of Epsom Salt.

For a great spa treatment that is used in many high end salons and spas, massage handfuls of Epsom Salt over wet skin to exfoliate. This massage should be done for 5 to 10 minutes, making sure to continuously massage the entire body.

Aromatherapy Aromatic Bath Products

Aromatherapy is the ancient practice of using essential oils extracted from plants for their therapeutic benefits. It was the Egyptians who built the first distillation machine, a rudimentary object used for the crude extraction of cedarwood oil which they used for several purposes, including embalming the dead, cosmetics, and baths.

Today, aromatherapy has come a long way. No longer is it confined to baths and cosmetics, but also, aromatherapy is used for its many therapeutic benefits, going so far as to complement what has been termed as holistic healing.

Aromatherapy bath product synergistically combines all the wonderful benefits of essential oils with the relaxing properties of hot water. Aromatherapy bath product provides you with several benefits, least of which is relief from stress and anxiety. Depending on the essential oils present in aromatherapy bath products, some will also assist with muscle pains or offer a sensual atmosphere that sets the mood.

Aromatic baths have long been practiced, as stated earlier. The Chinese may have been credited as the first cultured people to practice aromatherapy but for them, the science was restricted to incense burning in temples and ancestral shrines at home. It was only during the time of the Egyptians that aromatic baths were used. Learning from them, the Greeks also made good use of aromatic baths, a practice which the Romans later adopted in their public baths.

Japanese men also did not balk from aromatic baths. In Japan, it is customary to first wash and rinse well in a separate shower or basin and then take a long hot bath steeped in aromatherapy bath product. In many Western countries, aromatherapy bath products are exhibiting increased sales as more and more people are realizing the relaxing benefits of aromatic baths.

Perhaps the easiest way to implement aromatherapy and its benefits is to use aromatherapy bath product in the bath. Aromatherapy bath product can be any type of essential oil known for their therapeutic benefits. Other types of aromatherapy bath products include carrier oils, absolutes, CO2s, infused oils, resins, and hydrosols or floral waters.

You can use these types of aromatherapy bath products individually by simply adding 5-7 drops in the water. But you also have a choice of blending all these aromatherapy bath products for a synergistic effect. Customizing your own bath oil from several aromatherapy bath products might be a little difficult but you can always use a recipe blend for that. For instance, if you want a sensuous bath, try aromatherapy bath products of sandalwood, rose, ylang-ylang, patchouli, neroli or jasmine.

Hair Loss Treatment For Women

Hair loss is a health problem affecting both men and women. Although in women may not be as frequent as it can be in men, the fact is that hair thinning is really distressing for most women.

If you are one of those women who have these problems, you should look into the possibility of getting a specific treatment for women.

There are several therapeutic approaches for women being offered in the market nowadays. However, you should take note that not all forms may be suitable for you.
To know what treatment may be suitable to you and your present circumstances, it is a good idea that you should first consult your doctor regarding a specific treatment for women.

Rogaine as Hair Loss Treatment for Women

Rogaine is an over the counter hair loss treatment for women. Rogaine can be applied topically on the balding areas of the head. However, this substance may not be good for pregnant women or those who are nursing their babies as studies show that this substance may be harming for the baby and for the mother.

Women with heart problems are also advised not to use this substance because according to studies, Rogaine may have some negative effects on women with heart problems. If you are not sure if Rogaine is right for you, then you must consult your doctor before you attempt to use this product on your scalp.

Is Hair Weaving a Good Treatment for Women?

Contrary to popular belief that weaving the hair could prevent hair loss, it may not be beneficial for you. According to some studies, weaving the hair could cause traction alopecia through prolonged tension on growing hair. This technique is said to be especially harmful for women who have thin or fine strands of hair.

Hair Transplants

For women who have tried other hair loss remedy without any positive results, hair transplant could be the solution to their problem. Hair transplants is more expensive than other treatment but it could have lasting results.

If you are really very concerned about the condition of your hair, you may like to talk to your doctor about this type of treatment for women.

Finally, you should keep in mind that many causes of this condition in women are temporary, and that many women cope well by using hats, wigs and cosmetic products. Do not be taken by claims of wonder treatments to cure hair loss in women.

Airbrush Tanning

With all the hard work put into exercise, why not show off that great body? Lean and toned muscles are accentuated and complimented by a rich tan. Darker, glowing skin also sends out a message of health and exotic beauty. Each year, millions of women try desperately to attain and keep a good tan by laying in the sun for hours upon hours. This practice takes time to complete, but more importantly, is damaging to the skin. Prolonged sun exposure can cause cancer, and make the skin age much faster than usual.

There is the option of rub-in tan lotions, but those are a big messy hassle, that leave streak marks as far as the eye can see. For a streak less and even tan, you ought to check out the art of airbrush tanning. This effective, harmless procedure can save you from damaging sun rays, and can even be fun to do. There are several methods which you can use. You will soon enough find the technique that works best for you.

The first method of airbrush tanning involves going to a salon. At the salon, you stand in a shower stall that sprays your entire body in a glowing dark paint. You wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from the chemicals, and a swiveling nozzle circles your body several times, for complete coverage.

This technique works by dyeing the outermost layer of skin. Composed mainly of dead, discarded tissues, this part of the epidermis will replace itself in five to ten days. This style of airbrush tanning will last longer then a sun tan, and is also the safest choice to select when salon tanning. Tanning beds, for example, give that almost genuine sun kissed look, but may carry a host of undesirable illnesses. For example, venereal diseases can be passed on through tanning beds, making that tan not so worthwhile!

The next method of airbrush tanning is more popular, and with good reason. Because the tanning solution is applied by an experienced tanning specialist, you can rest assured that you will get an even, all over tan.

If you want to get all that you possibly can out of your airbrush tanning session , here are a few recommended tricks that will make your airbrush tanning experience a little richer. To start with, always exfoliate skin the day before your airbrush tanning appointment. This will make the tan last longer. Before you leave the salon, ask the sales person to recommend a tanning cream specifically geared towards locking in moisture. Using these types of tanning creams helps retain the smooth and soft glowing skin you want.

Dark Skin In The Sun

It is always said that people with fair skin and freckles really need to be careful whilst out in the sun. So what if you have darker skin? Does that mean that you do not have to be as careful? Are there still risks of sun damage for people with darker skins?

I can be extremely confusing to know whether the sun can still damage darker skin, when you are constantly being told that fair skin has the biggest danger. So just exactly what are the risks to darker skin?

The Problems Which Can Occur With Dark Skin in the Sun
Whilst it has previously been thought that cancer is blocked by darker skins, this simply is not true. It may be less common in darker skin, but if you do have dark skin and you end up with skin cancer, it can often be more deadly than if you had fair skin. This is due to the fact that it is often diagnosed later as it is harder to find and it is often more aggressive in darker skins too.

Darker skin is better protected against sunburn however, as it contains extra pigment. Also, darker skin has increased epidermal melanin which tends to provide natural sun protection. This does not mean that you should not wear sunscreen however, you should always wear sunscreen to protect your skin, and it just means that darker skin has more of a natural protection than fair skin. Generally dark skin has a natural sun protection factor of around 13, and it can also filter the suns UV rays better than fair skin can.

Melanoma is a condition which is common on the soles of the feet and the palms of the hands on people with dark skin. This is because these places are often lighter than other parts of the body. Also other skin cancers tend to first appear on the soles of the feet and on the palms of the hands so you really should check these areas regularly after you have been exposed to the sun.

The best way to prevent skin cancer is to wear sun protection. Even though darker skins do have a sun protection factor of up to 13, it is advised that you do wear sun protection with a factor of at least 15. It all depends upon where you live. Some areas have stronger UV levels than others, and so if you live in the Caribbean for example, you will generally need a higher protection level than if you lived somewhere such as the UK. A good way to see what the UV levels will be like daily, you should watch your local weather report which will tell you how strong the UV levels are going to be for that day.

Also having a healthy diet and regular exercise really can help to cut your chances of skin cancer. Eating a lot of oily fish such as salmon, which contains a lot of omega 3, can help to cut your risk of burning in the sun by up to 33% if you eat it up to three times a week for over three months.

So overall, generally if you have darker skin you are still at risk of developing skin cancer, even if your chances are reduced. You really should not gamble with your life by following research which tells you that darker skins are safe from the sun. You are not completely safe and you need to take the necessary precautions the same as everybody else. Always check your hands and the soles of your feet to check for any skin alterations such as blisters or moles. Always consult a doctor if you do notice any changes and they will be able to give you a full diagnosis. The sun can be deadly to all skin colors and it needs to be taken seriously.

How to Shop for Fashionable Plus-Size Clothing

Finding fashionable plus-size clothing has been a struggle for larger men and women in the past. Fortunately, the fashion industry is becoming increasingly more accepting of diverse body types and many stores and brands now carry the latest trends in larger sizes. Plus-size celebrities such as Missy Elliot and Queen Latifah have helped push fuller-figures in the mainstream, and clothing manufactures are beginning to respond to this demand. Full-figured men and women can say goodbye to flower-print muumuus and oversized sweat suits--the latest plus-sized clothing includes stylish sweaters, tailored pants, and fitted jackets.

Style Tips
If you are plus-size, following a few fashion tips can ensure that you look your best and that your clothes are well-suited for your figure. Men and women of all sizes should remember that the latest fashion trends might not necessarily work with their figures. "I don't care how many pairs of cigarette pants I buy, my legs aren't going to look like cigarettes in them," said one website visitor.

1. Try dressing monochromatically. This doesn't mean that you need to cover yourself in head-to-toe black, but choosing a basic all-over color scheme can create a smooth silhouette, minimize problem areas, and create a coordinated look.
2. Make sure you are wearing the correct bra size. A properly sized bra can make a world of difference in how clothing fits and will be far more comfortable. Your local department store is a good place to receive a proper fitting.
3. Choose well-tailored, fitted clothing. Avoid styles that are cropped or styles with excessive fabric. Boot-cut pants and structured jackets are a great, stylish option for women of all sizes.

Where to Shop
Lane Bryant is probably the best-known online plus-size store for women, and this is a great place to start your search. However, don't feel that you are restricted to shopping at only one specialty shop. Wal-Mart, Old Navy, and Target are good places to look for affordable clothing in larger sizes for both men and women. Larger men may want to look at the clothing selection at J. Crew and Gap. A number of smaller online shops have emerged as well, such as b & lu, which offers the latest fashion trends for teens and young women in sizes ranging from 14 to 30. As summer approaches, retailers will offer online deals to encourage buyers to make quick purchases before their vacations. Women can buy Longitude swimwear online for stylish plus size summer accessories.

Another great source is eBay!, the online auction site. Use the sites search engine to find clothes according to brand, price, or condition. A number of eBay! merchants specialize in plus-size clothing, so these can be a great resource for individuals with full-figures. Before you buy, be sure to check the merchant’s customer rating and the shipping and handling costs.

Before You Buy
The most important step you should take before you purchase a garment is to assess both your size and measurements. Some clothing is sized in standardized sizes, such as 14, 18, and 22, while others are sized by waist or bust measurements. Secondly, be sure to avoid plus-size styles that are overly loose or baggy, which can appear sloppy and make you look heavier. Instead, select items that are well-structured, have vertical lines, and are made from quality fabric. Avoid fabrics that are shiny or especially tight, which can draw attention to problem areas of the body.

Selecting well-fitting, quality garments is the best way to ensure that you always look your best, no matter what your size. The growth of online sales has opened up the availability of fashionable clothing to plus-size men and woman, no matter where they live.

Parking Lot Attendants Aid In Kidnapping Plot

Lisa is a customer service representative for a large retail store. She is use to hearing all kinds of complaints from different types of people. Most of the people make their position known and move on with their lives. There are some who take things to the extreme. They sometimes use profanity and on rare occasions become physical.

All in all, she likes her work. It is a chance to help people and make a small difference in their lives. She is the focal point of lots of customer activity. Lisa a vital link between the company and the public. She has customers that come to her every once in a while. She also has customers that seem to be there everyday.

There was one guy who she dreaded seeing. She did all she could to avoid him. Some how he always ended up at her counter. He was a real jerk. It seemed like everyday there was something wrong. He would rant and rave and call all the representatives names. He had a particular dislike for Lisa and she knew it. They mostly tried to ignore him because they did not want to cause a scene in front of the other customers.

They even called management a few times to try and calm him down. They received the same treatment. He would eventually leave only to comeback in a couple of days and cause the same scene. Frankly they were all growing very tired of him and were thinking about banning him from the store. As predicted, a few days later he came in with the same attitude.

The managers were fed up, so they called the police. He was escorted off the property with an order not to return. He was furious and blamed the hold thing on Lisa. She had not personally initiated the complaint, but she was glad somebody finally did something about him. About a week later, Lisa was about to go home for the evening.

She saw the guy in the store parking lot. She thought what is he doing here? When he saw her he made a beeline towards her. He said, you got me banned from the store. Lisa felt there might be trouble, so she kept on walking. The guy kept badgering her. She kept trying to avoid him.

He reached out and grabbed her arm and tried to drag her toward his vehicle. She fought and screamed. This got the attention of some parking lot attendants. They came to lend a hand. They grabbed the guy, pinned him down and called the police.

The guy was arrested for attempted kidnapping. Lisa eventually left her job out of fear that the guy might return. She always thinks how much worse it could have been if he had succeeded in getting her in the car.

If possible, you should fight to keep from leaving the scene with the criminal. A criminal trying to move you away from the scene has more on their mind than just robbery. If they get you away from the scene they are free to perform other heinous acts.

If they get you to an isolated area your chances of coming back alive are significantly decreased. They do not like to leave witnesses. Use what ever is available to keep them from moving you from the scene. You may get hurt in the process, but you may save your own life. Have a plan to defend yourself and use it when the oportunity presents itself.

Carpenter Hammered By Lies And Deception

Rick was a local carpenter. He made a decent living fixing houses in the local area. He had a girl friend named Michelle. Rick did not know as much about Michelle as he wanted. They had been only dating for a couple of weeks. He knew that she was a local girl and figured, she was all right. He did not want to stoop to prying even though he had a vested interest in doing so.

He felt that he would know all he needed to know in time. Rick spent lots of his time in a shed in his backyard. It was a workshop where he made furniture as a hobby. One evening he decided to go out to his shop and finish a table he had been working on for a friend. As he was walking out of the house, the phone rang. It was Michelle and she sounded a little strange.

She said, she just called to see if he was all right. Rick said yes and did not think much else about it. He went back outside toward his shop to finish the table. As he was approaching the shop, a man jumped from
behind the shed and said, whats up Rick? Rick said who are you and what are you doing in my yard? The guy said I going to teach you a lesson. He grabbed an ax leaning up against the shed and took a swung at Rick.

He managed to get out of the way just in time. At that time, there was a siren outside the front of Ricks house. It was the police and Michelle. They called for Rick and asked if he was alight. He said yes, but I was just attacked by some guy. The Cops took his statement and thats when all was revealed.

Michelle was married and it was her husband who attacked Rick. Rick was shocked and immediately broke off his relationship with Michelle. Its turns out that Michelle had a history of getting unsuspecting people involved in her marriage. The Husband was arrested for assault.

Rick found a new girlfriend, and he learns as much about her as he can. He is moving on with his life, but still looks over his shoulder for the guy who attacked him.

We all think we know the people we call friends. We do not expect them to have secrets that will get us hurt. The unexpected can happen. People always have things that they do not want to disclose for one reason or another. When other people are involved they should be as open and honest as possible. If a relationship is based on lies the outcome can only be negative.

If you are serious about another person take the time to find out what you are getting into. There is no such thing as a squeaky clean human being. Everyone has some baggage. It becomes a major problem, when the baggage creates a volatile situation for the people involved. If a person is worth knowing they are worth knowing well.

You must have your own criteria, so that you can quickly escape those who do not meet your standards. Have a plan in case things do not go as planned. In short prepare an exit strategy. Also be prepared to defend yourself if the situation turns violent.

Getting in Shape To Wear A Bikini

Do you love summer, but hate the way you look in your swimwear? Get into shape now to wear a bikini this coming summer. You will look great, feel good about yourself, and have a great time enjoying the sun and the water without worrying about your body. First, take an honest look at your diet. Is it well balanced or do you live on junk all day long with a meal or two thrown in there? How much exercise do you get?

Cutting back on sugar that turns to fat will reduce your calorie intake and help you lose weight. You will also have more energy. That extra energy can be used to motivate you to get moving more. Fewer calories with more exercise is going to result in losing weight as well as toning up your body. Losing weight is great, but you do not want loose, flappy skin hanging out of your bikini.

While any type of exercise will help you to lose weight and tone your body, some exercises with work better than others to get your body into bikini shape. First, focus on your upper body. Doing light aerobics with weights up to five pounds will help loosen you up and firm you up. You might even consider some basic weight lifting two or three times per week. For the lower body, walking and running are great types of exercise. You will want to include sit ups and lunges to help firm up your stomach and thighs. Taebo is a great workout for your entire body that is really fun. It is also a great cardio workout.

The key is to find a diet plan that is healthy that you will be satisfied with. If you feel you are missing out, then your willpower will not last. You want to find changes that you can stick with for the rest of your life. The same is true with exercise. The key is to find types of exercise that are going to motivate you to continue. You want to look forward to your workout rather than dread it.

Making such changes is not easy. However, keep in mind the type of bikini you want to wear this summer for days when you have lost all motivation. These changes will make you feel better, have more energy, live a healthier lifestyle, and most of all look great in your new bikini!

Skincare Tips That'll Make You Glow

If you want to look great, then having great skin is a necessity. Diet and exercise play an important role when it comes to taking steps to improve the health of your skin beyond simply using good skin care products. Not only will it make you feel good about yourself, but the following steps also have many ancillary benefits when it comes to your health and happiness.

Dry Brush Exfoliation: This should be done in the morning prior to going in the shower. This gets ride of excess dead skin, thus allowing your skin to detox. This will also help with blood circulation and decreases any puffiness. While this is a great way to improve your skin condition it also provides a calming affect through the gentle pressure, which stimulates the nervous system. With the help of a bristle brush you can be on your way to a dry brush exfoliation once a day in no time.

Hydration: This causes your digestion to slow down and in turn leaves your body filled with impurities for longer than it should. You should try to drink 4 litres of water per day, at least. In order to make sure you meet this target have a bottle of water with you at all times throughout the day and you will find it's easy to get through this amount without thinking about it. Don't like drinking plain water? Consider adding flavoring to your water.

Fibre: Fibre will improve your diet and your skin at the same time. Most people know that this will make their skin glow, but few know how to realistically eat their RDA of fibre every day. Here's some tips to make sure you manage:

1. Brown is better than white. Pasta and bread both have up to ten times as much fibre in them when you opt for brown rather than white. This is an easy dietary change for most people, so at least give it a try and see if you can make the shift.
2. Eat apples, and lots of them! Apples are sweet and tasty. More importantly their skins are jam packed with fibre. Try to eat a couple of apples a day as a contribution towards your 5 fruit and vegetables.

Get exercise: If you fail to get exercise then you'll notice your muscle tone turning to flab. This has been said to lead to cellulite, acne and bloating. None of which will do your complexion any favours! That's why you have to consider incorporating an exercise plan into your lifestyle. This shouldn't be a chore, and is an essential part of a healthy lifestyle.

Sugar: Sugar may be sweet, but it doesn't do your skin any favours. This is said to be one of the major causes of ageing in the skin. You can easily tackle this problem through ensuring your not having any more sugar in your diet than you have to. This means that a sprinkle of sugar on your cereal shouldn't be an option. When it comes to tea and coffee, it's easy to gradually reduce whether or not you take sugar. If you currently take 2 spoonfuls, come down to zero half a spoonful at a time.

Silicone Breast Implants

When a woman has a plastic surgery these can involve any part of the body. For the most part these surgical procedures will be ones that involve reducing fat deposits from the thighs, face, waist, stomach and the breasts. The numbers of breast surgeries that can be found are an indication of the popularity of these plastic surgery procedures.

In general the places where this cosmetic surgery will be done can usually be found in hospitals. There are private surgeries where you can also have silicone breast implants performed. Since you are planning on having a part of your body changed you should take the time to hunt for plastic surgeons that are known for their reconstructive work in breasts.

At present the breast surgeries will include a number of different procedures. These list silicone breast implants as among the popular ones. In this procedure the silicone is mainly implanted into the breasts to provide the tight and up lifted appearance. When you look around for plastic surgeons who are qualified to perform this surgery you can find many doctors.

You should make sure that you undergo treatment with a well qualified doctor as the silicone breast implants do have problems. The most common problem is that the implants may rupture. If this does occur, the silicone which is in the implant will leak outwards into the rest of the body. There is a chance that you will become allergic or infected with the leaked silicone.

Since this is an occurrence that has happened previously many women nowadays prefer to have gel or saline based breast implants inserted instead. Unlike the silicone breast implants the saline ones are safer to your body.

If you still feel that having silicone breast implants is a better option for you it is a good idea if you are familiar with the advantages and disadvantages to be found. These pros and cons for the breast implant surgeries can be found on the internet as well as with your doctor.

Nose Plastic Surgery

The places where this reconstructive work will be done can usually be found in hospitals. There are however private surgeries where you can also have nose surgery performed. As you are planning on having a part of your body changed and not in line with nature you should take the time to hunt for plastic surgeons that are known for their reconstructive work.

The patient care and after care of these locations where you are looking into getting nose surgery from should also be investigated. This is important as you may end up being taken under the care of an inexperienced surgeon.

To prevent this from occurring you should do a background check on the medical facility and the staff. This investigation of your should also reveal how the past patients rate this facility as towards their satisfaction for the nose surgery that they have paid for.

You can use the internet if you feel comfortable to find the location and address of a medical center where you can have a nose surgery performed. Once the pertinent information has been received you should see about making a consultation reservation. At this consultation you will need to ask needed details.

These details should include the surgeon’s fees, the stay in the hospital, and the aftercare from the nose surgery and of course the consultation fees for the operation itself. In the interview that you are going to conduct about the nose surgery you should ask to see the different types of reconstructed new nose shapes that you can think about having.

While getting a nose surgery may seem frivolous for some people, there are others who will need this operation. In these serious cases the patient needs the expert care of highly trained medical personnel. These medical staff can prevent the patient in question from having trouble breathing if the nose surgery is very difficult.

For the many people who are looking forward to getting their noses fixed for whatever reason, a nose surgery can be of great help. The surgeon in whose hands you are placing yourself in is an artist. It is thanks to people like this that nose surgery can be performed so well.

Sweating And Mitchum Antiperspirant

The advertising campaign for Mitchum antiperspirant will inform you of the various advantages that you will gain by using this odor protector. It is also the setting agent. It is also the setting agent for these products acting as a barrier between the colour & the skin's own natural oils, which would otherwise dissolve the make-up. But because it covers the largest area of the face, foundation needs to blend seamlessly with the skin.

Makeup Foundations for differing Skin Types
Before buying new foundation there are two areas of concern that need to be addressed.
Firstly, the foundation must complement your skin type.

Oily Skin; For oily skin that is prone to shine, an oil-free formulation will hinder the production of excess oil, and most contain extra powder particles to dry any oil produced.

Normal Skin; Normal skin can take pretty much any formulation, but a liquid will give ample coverage without looking caked or heavy. Dry skin needs make-up foundation with extra moisturisers to keep it supple, and to prevent the skin from drinking in the makeup. A cream make-up formulation will last longer and also hydrate.
Foundation Colours
The best time to pick a colour is when your skin is at its most natural shade. So, after your holidays or morning after self tanning applications are not the best time. The best place to try make-up is on the jaw line.
Basically, foundation colour falls into two categories;
• Foundation bases with yellow tones
• Foundation bases with pick tones
The most common yellow-toned skin types are Asian, sallow and black skin, whereas fair skin has generally has pink tones. It is important to choose a foundation that matches your skin's base, otherwise the make-up will not blend well, no matter how you apply it.
Applying make-up foundations
Oily Skin; With oily skin, the application of oil-free formulas needs to be fast, as they dry speedily. Using clean fingers to apply small does to the areas most in need of coverage is the best way; simply do each area at a time until the face is complete.

Normal Skin; For normal skin, the choice of cream-to-powder liquid or powder foundation can change how much time you spend applying it. Cream-to-powder is best applied with a sponge, starting in the centre of the face and working outwards; its done in a matter of moments. Liquid foundation looks more natural applied with a foundation brush. Again work the brush outwards, taking care to use less around the eye area. Powder or mineral make-up foundation should be applied with a large powder brush; while it will not give the same level of coverage as a liquid, it is a great makeup for those who are pressed for time.

Dry Skin; For dry skin, cream foundation moves well around the face, and a little goes a long way. Dry skin tends to have few blemishes, so concentrate on areas that need coverage, and leave clear areas bare: this is why getting the right colour match is vital

Sexy Sleek Looking Skin Tight Jeans

Sexy skin tight jeans, whether you are a fan or not it is the hottest jeans in town! Avoid wearing too much

Makeup is meant to enhance features not bring negative attention to you. That's what wearing too much makeup will do; it will bring you unwanted attention. Don't wear too much of anything such as:

i) Eyeliner: dark, thick eyeliner will make you look overdone and will ruin the rest of your makeup.

ii) Mascara: too much mascara looks fake and will flake. It looks especially bad if worn with thick eyeliner or dark blue eye eye shadow.

iii) Foundation: Make sure your foundation is the same color as your skin. Foundation is meant to protect and give the face a smooth look. The magic word is blend.

iv) Powder:The same holds true for powder - not too much. Also, be sure to blend your makeup so there are no obvious lineS

2. Lips

Apply lip liner to completely cover the lips, add color and your lipstick will stay on much longer. Make sure your lip liner doesn't show. Also, your lip color should match your skin tone; wear cool colors if you have cool coloring and warm colors if you have warm coloring. If you want to make your lips look smaller, keep your liner on the inside of your lips. However, if you decide to make your lips look larger, going outside the natural outline of you lips is a mistake. This can look quite messy and unnatural.

3. Appropriate makeup
Wear makeup that is appropriate for the occasion. If you are going to the beach you shouldn't wear the same or as much makeup as you would if you were going dancing. Also, when you are in daylight your makeup should be a lighter than when you are out for the evening.

4. Too little or no makeup

Some women don't wear makeup because they are not sure how to use it and are afraid of being overdone. If you are unsure, start will light colours in your shade. Start slowly and add one product at a time. Maybe start with foundation, add mascara, blush or lipstick. If you are not used to wearing makeup, using a lot a first may be a little too much for you, so start slowly. The bottom line is a little is better than none. If you are still unsure seek professional advice.

5. Overall look

When your makeup is completed it should look natural. That means avoiding colours that clash. If you have dark skin and hair you will look better in darker shades; light colours will make you look washed out. If your hair and skin tone are light, light colours will look better on you. Dark makeup will make you look older and harsh. If you have oily skin, first use oil control moisturizer and foundation. Then be sure to wear loose powder, keeping pressed powder with you for touch ups.

6. Hair color

Your hair color should also be in harmony with your skin. If you have dark hair and you want to add color, keep it close to the same shade. If you have light hair, use light colors. As you age your skin will lighten, so should your hair color. One last thing about hair color - if you do color you hair be sure you keep it up, don't let your roots show.

7. One last thing

Keep makeup looking fresh all day by doing regular touch ups. Don't let your makeup fade or crease. Smile!!!

All Dressed Up

I have been asked a question that relates to fashion and clothing and the essential daily habit of dressing, but before I follow through I have to share this very special conversation that I downloaded from "Kids say the funniest things".

We´ll just start at the very beginning – the lingerie department! Melanie asked her Granny how old she was. Granny replied she was so old that she couldn't even remember any more. Melanie said, "If you don't remember you must look in the back of your knickers. Mine say five to six." Aaahh ….. Out of the mouths of babes! A friend came around to visit and when she left she said, "Would you mind if I asked you a personal question" to which I said "No" "Do you dress up every day?" A resounding yes! Love it! I throw the cupboard doors open and scan, then start the co-ordinating process of outfit, shoes and accessories and never get bored of it.

Never should a day be wasted even when I have no intention of putting my foot out of the front door. Of course the outfit for a day at home is casual but always co-ordinated – a habit that was formed many, many years ago and a progression from dressing my Barbie Dolls. The annoying thing about Barbie is that she is still in the flush of youth and I am now almost in the flush of menopause. How did that happen? Must be the plastic that is the elixir of youth – no wonder they call them plastic surgeons! By the time I turned fourteen I was already making my own outfits. My favourite part of the whole procedure was selecting the colours and textures creating something wild and wonderful, with layers and inserts and maybe a knot here and there. Making a long story short – I eventually had a career as a clothing designer for twelve years before moving to Marbella and my passion for fashion lives on, that is why dressing every day is no effort at all.
On a serious note - I have to sing praises for my all time favourite designer who influenced my appreciation for fashion: Christian Dior. He created a very feminine post war range of dresses and suits that were referred to as the `new look´. The ´new look´ hit the fashion catwalk in 1947 and the most favoured being the ´bar suit´ which was the combination of a beautifully tailored fitted jacket cut into a small waist over a billowing skirt. At the time Christian Dior´s top assistant in the design room was Pierre Cardin who was well known for his tailoring. In 1956 Dior changed the skirt to a mid calf pencil skirt and during that time his favoured assistant designer was Yves St Laurent. Nothing like being born in the same year as one of my favourite fashion era´s and an era that I would like to go back in time for! Still in the past and one of my most favourite memories was of a lovely classy lady called Sophie who was always out and about in her uniform of gym clothes and very attractive unmade up face. One day we attended the same charity event and when I saw her I was overwhelmed with her transformation and immediately complemented her and her response was "I scrub up well!" Don't you just love that saying! "Got the slap on" ….. Ditto to that too!
That was what I call the `WOW´ factor – the moth turning into a butterfly. The choice to be consistently groomed and moving up a notch or two for those special events where you get a nod of approval or plain Jane it until that special moment when you take their breath away. Our girls shopping excursion a few weeks ago was a lot of fun and made me realise how much I miss the total freedom of choice with 'what to wear'. Thinking back on the days when 'off the peg' was up to the minute fashion and you wore the dictatorship length, style and colour – you were hot to trot and your youth held no sense of danger with regards to your size and shape. Time waits for no woman and before you know it you're 50 and cautious with your choices, aware of the little voice in your head that irritatingly says, "That's a bit young for you," or "That's just a bit too sassy."

Well one of my chosen items of clothing was a fabulous pencil skirt with exciting detail and it fitted like a glove, a very tight glove. I felt fabulous in it and it got the unanimous approval from all the girls but that little voice kept chipping away. Did I buy it? No, and I still feel the pain - but logic has to step in with the reality being that I would have had to wear a pair of killer heels with my very tight 'it might split' pencil skirt. Did I make the right decision? ….. Yes, and do I feel the pain of logic.
The past was a heady experience of fashion trends that were followed with gay abandon. The present is influenced by timeless elegance with comfort and styling that are more personal. The future is making sure that my knickers have got the age tag in the back just in case I don´t remember any more!

A beauty event any other

Every year in a beautifully historic part of Italy there is a beauty event that overshadows all other beauty events worldwide. For the major part of the year you can enjoy a peaceful existence here, however, this one particular week in the beginning of every April Bologna undergoes such a metamorphosis that you might think you were in a different place altogether, in fact the population actually increases by 40%! Forget about the fact that this is where the oldest University in the world UNIBO (Alma Mater Studiorum Università di Bologna) still stands, founded in 1088 with students such as Dante and Francesco Petraca. Cosmoprof02

And let's not take into account that during the Renaissance, Bologna was the only Italian city allowing women to excel in any profession. No, the important thing to remember here, is this is where the biggest most infl uential trend setting beauty event in the world takes place and celebrating 40 years in business Cosmoprof Bologna was once again breaking records. If you can imagine for a moment almost every single thing in beauty you can possibly think off housed under one roof, from breakthrough products that instantly change your skin tone to equipment that transforms your body in seconds. The excitement that builds when walking through the main entrance is quite overwhelming. The magnitude of the event is so vast with more than 2000 exhibitors and over 150 thousand visitors, it's easy to understand why it was virtually impossible to get to see everything. But, here's the problem you can't miss anything because the next big tanning product or botox treatment could be at the next booth. For the beauty industry as a whole it's all about the big reveal, the cutting edge products that promise to change your life, your looks and even take off twenty years of ageing in the wave of a wand.Alfaparf

Overall, there were many fantastic things to see and experience but there were certain things that defi nitely stood out from the rest and deserved a second look. For sure the biggest thing in skin care was leaning toward the natural botanics, it seemed everyone was promoting the use of natural based ingredients in their product lines.
This is certainly in response to consumer demand as we are now aware of the impact of chemicals in our beauty products and the effect they may have not only on our skin but also on our environment.
A common thread throughout the event was the attention to detail and transparency that skincare companies were eager to share. Unlike the past where keeping ingredients secret were paramount, cosmetic companies have changed dramatically to expose every feature in their products that boast of natural and even organic elements. Korres Natural Products are particularly interesting with over 300 skin and hair care products all based on the four main principals of the best natural ingredients, effectiveness, pleasing to the senses and perfect for every day use.

The Body Butters are divine with four different choices of Guava, Quince, Yoghurt and Fig, in fact fi g is about to be the next big trendsetter for most cream based products due to the high anti oxidants. All of Korres Body Butters deliver a deeply moisturising instantly smooth elasticity to the skin as well as offering powerful anti ageing properties. As we usually stay in Parma we were surprised at the impact of natural elements included in the displays of a local company, Davines.
Although they have worldwide distribution and are indeed a leading European haircare company they are also taking the lead in social responsibility. An example of this was their exhibition stand made completely out of paper designed by the world famous Japanese architect Shigeru Ban. Concentrating on the importance of social ethics in business and the environment Davines has partnered with Lifegate in hopes of creating the fi rst eco sustainable salon. Promoting a new line of sun protective products Davines has released SU Solar that promises to provide anti ageing properties to the hair. cosmoprof 02
Especially for sun seekers that enjoy a dip in the pool or sea, hair protection is guaranteed with strong anti oxidants and fi lmogenous agents to keep the hair nourished, soft and silky.

Perhaps the most impressive part of the show was the Masterpieces, described as the worlds only international event for Artistic Perfumery. This is an exclusive section of Cosmoprof by invitation only that exhibits the absolute fi nest fragrances available throughout the globe previewing their latest launches and pre launches for the year ahead. Just a few of the perfumeries that exhibited included Clive Christian with the most expensive perfume in the world, Bond no. 9 which marks each New York neighborhood with a scent of its own, Creed, Bulgari and many more. Also on display was Trafalgar 1805 the latest addition dedicated to Admiral Nelson and signed by Washington Tremlette, truly an inspirational fragrance. The plight of the rain forest is a major concern for most of us green enthusiasts to which Plumas and Gemas have focused on by developing a line of revolutionary bath and skincare luxury products. Each product was created with the rich biodiveristy and indigenous customs of Brazil to produce rare botanicals offering a sense of exotic beauty and natural well being, but even more importantly they have dedicated themselves to giving back to the community of Brazils Rain Forests. Among this unique line is a White Marajo Clay Exfoliating Body Cleanser with crushed passion fruit seeds.

Found in Amazonia it is an extraordinary rare mineral earth collected exclusively by local communities along the forest coast of the Marajo River Island. Strong therapeutic and medicinal properties are formed through contact with rich waters, seeds, and leaves giving this clay high concentrations of healing nutrients, mineral salts, potassium and calcium. Moving on to the equipment there is a new wave in tanning treatments that promises to put just plain old tanning to shame. It´s called Bodywave. No, this is not a boogie board to go surfi ng with and it isn't just another spray tan machine either! The new Q Med Bodywave is promoted as a Sun & Slim All in One! This is a hi tech system that uses Hz vibrations to work on toning, draining, relaxing and sun tanning altogether within ten minutes.

They also add that it is so innovative that you can get rid of cellulite and get the same results as going to the gym! Spectragenics have released a new personal laser hair removal system called Tria which is the fi rst clinically proven, eye-safe laser hair removal device for home use. It has a patent pending Diffuse Radiance Technology that safely targets hair growth beneath the skin that provides long term results. Although this hand held wonder reveals a study of very satisfi ed participants and has been designed by the same scientists who developed the medical grade lasers you still have to wonder why it is only available in Japan!

Yoga

Yoga has always been one of those things that grabbed my attention on and off for brief moments, but those moments quickly passed. After the initial "I'd like to be able to bend like that!" and "Maybe this could be the answer to sleeping well and stressing less" have come and gone, I quickly realise – I don't have the patience or time for Yoga! Anyway, even when I do have the time, the daughter, the dogs, the cats, the friends and the husband (not all in that order of course) are high on my list of priorities. I would much rather be having some fun versus seeking spiritual enlightenment. On reflection, does that make me shallow?

There are those of us however; who feel spiritual enlightenment and healthy fit bodies that can bend every which way gives you the ability to enjoy your other happy moments even more! In fact, there are far more people that receive an element of greater happiness simply by practising Yoga. And then there's Neo – from the aptly named "Yoga with Neo". Why does someone with a law degree decide to leave his successful career and become a Yoga Instructor? He admits that his life has changed completely through Yoga and he has now reached a point of contentment many of us are desperately seeking. So what am I missing? Maybe, I'm not seeing the big picture and deep down somewhere inside there is a part of me that just needs to be convinced!

I have been meaning to get together with Neo for over a year now spurred by several people who had attended his retreats and felt that this was probably something I needed to do. This should give you some idea of the procrastination factor involved with my life. When I do finally make contact and am almost ready to jump in head first, I find out Neo has since moved to the U.S. and now only visits the Marbella area for retreats! Hhmm…, could this be a sign that my life simply doesn't need any more enlightenment? While others may disagree, it would be remiss of me not to be impressed with the way Neo's 21st Century Yoga concept has evolved into a worldwide movement. In just five years his "Journey of discovery" teachings have grown from a one to one Yogic teaching into a globally run network business, oh and by the way, if you're thinking of having a one to one class, you'll have to go on the waiting list for this year!
